Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my percentage?
Divide your obtained marks by the total marks and multiply by 100. This calculator does that for you as you type.
What is the difference between percentage and division?
Percentage is your exact score out of 100. Division is a broad band, such as First Class or Second Class, based on that percentage.
Can I calculate subject-wise percentages?
Yes. Use the subject table to enter obtained and total marks for each subject, and add more rows when you need them.
Can obtained marks be more than total marks?
No. If your result looks above 100%, check that you entered obtained marks and total marks in the correct boxes.
