Formula: Age = today’s date − date of birth, counted in full years, then full months, then remaining days · Formula source: standard calendar age calculation, as set out in How it works below · Last reviewed: 8 November 2026

How it works

The calculator compares your date of birth with today. It first works out the full years, then the remaining full months, then the remaining days. Your age on 15 June 2026 was exactly 22 years, and the months and days are counted from your most recent birthday on 15 June 2026. For example, a person born on 15 June 2004 is 22 years old in November 2026, with the months and days counted from their most recent birthday on 15 June 2026.
