All results on GradeCalc are estimates only. They are not official board or exam results. GradeCalc’s calculators are designed to help you plan, revise and set goals. They do not replace the marksheets, grade cards and rank lists published by your school, board or exam authority.
Estimates, not official results
Percentages, grades, ranks and scores shown on this site are calculated from the numbers you enter, using standard formulas and common grade boundaries. Your board — for example CBSE, ICSE or a state board — and your exam authority, such as the National Testing Agency (NTA) for JEE and NEET, may use different rules, rounding, grace marks or normalisation. Always check your official marksheet or result for your confirmed result.
Percentile and rank estimates
Percentile-to-rank estimates depend on the total number of candidates and on how scores are distributed in a given year, neither of which can be known exactly in advance. A rank estimate from GradeCalc is a guide only and may differ from the rank you are actually awarded.
No professional advice
Nothing on GradeCalc is academic, career or admissions advice. If you are making a decision about subject choices, admissions or counselling, please confirm the details with your school, your board or the relevant exam authority.
No affiliation
GradeCalc is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to CBSE, CISCE/ICSE, any state board, the National Testing Agency, or any school or coaching institute. Names of boards and exams are used only to describe what our calculators are for.
Accuracy and liability
We work hard to keep our calculators accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every result is error-free. GradeCalc is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for any loss or disappointment arising from reliance on an estimate shown on this site.
If you spot a mistake in a calculator, please tell us through our Contact page and we will look into it.
